REAL SUMMER DREAM
This is a real summer dream. The house is an architectural design and is located in a lush pine garden in the middle of a nature reserve. They have saved the fantastic old twisted pine trees directly outside the house. In front of the house there are flat rocks, which spread out to the sea and Stigfjorden. Step out with the first morning cup of coffee, enjoy the scent of warm pine needles & the breathtaking views of the fjord’s sparkling water. The only thing you hear is birds chirping, some buzzing bumblebees, and maybe a fishing boat at sea.

The house is located on Rossön. which is a narrow peninsula on southern Orust. Surrounded by water on three sides, you are close to several nice bathing areas and a charming marina. The peninsula is part of the nature reserve Rossö and here you can find both twinflowers & orchids. The beach meadows attract lots of different bird species, maybe you get a view of a common snipe!

THE HOUSE
Main floor: The house is on two floors built with natural materials and large windows that blur the boundary between inside and outside. On both floors there are generous living rooms for socializing, playing board games or just relaxing with a good book. On the first floor is the open kitchen, which is completely new, with black granite counter tops, hob and dishwasher. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining area with large windows and an exit to the fantastic trees and cliffs outside.

On the same floor you will also find a bedroom, toilet with shower and exit to the backside terrace.

TOP FLOOR
You come up in a small hall, on the right is bedroom number two, which faces the sea. Then there is a large room with lots of seating and two beds x 120 cm. A balcony along the entire gable faces the beautiful surroundings.

THE GUEST HOUSE
The guest house have a large nice terrace. Here is a sofa bed which is about 1 meter when it is folded out.

THE PLOT PROPERTY
The plot and surroundings are fabulous. A better summer feeling is probably difficult to get. A large balcony is on the back and a charcoal grill for lovely barbecue evenings.

TO DO AT ORUST & TJÖRN
The pilgrim trail at Orust is eight kilometers long and connects eight churches. It runs in a loop and forms an eight, and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island. Tavlebord’s honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how bees live and make honey. Here you can also buy delicious “Fika” (coffee & pastries) and honey candies. Just next door is Tavlebord’s country store, which acts as a market hall where local producers sell their food and crafts themselves. A day trip to car-free Gullholmen or Käringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik which is about 9 km from Hälleviksstrand.

At Sundsby Manor at Tjörn you can go for a guided tour and then eat something good in the cafe & restaurant, their shrimp sandwiches are amazing! In the carp pond next to the manor, frogs, toads, water salamanders and many different insects thrive. There are also hiking trails and caves in the mountains. NOTE! The drinking water in the house is ferrous, which means that it is not so good to drink. It is alright for cooking & showering.
