Here you have your one house, with a lush, child-friendly garden and a large patio. The house is great for a large family or two smaller families. Maximum 8 people including children.
The house is built in a plan on a sloping plot. You enter a large hall. Here is the main bedroom with double bed. Then comes another small hall and the bathroom. To the right you have a large living room and to the left is the kitchen.
To get to the two additional bedrooms you go through the kitchen. Both bedrooms each have their own pull-out bed, and in the larger bedroom there is also a bunk bed. The kitchen has a dining area and all amenities as well as access to the large terrace which is the same level as the kitchen.
The garden is lush with lots of berries and plants and sun all day. The house is a bit to itself, so it is very child-friendly. Many flowering shrubs, cherry trees with lots of fruit in mid-late July. There are also bushes with berry, apple trees with lots of fruit during the autumn.
THE SURROUNDINGS, just 500 meters to cliffs and the sea
The beach is a small natur bathing place with jetty and floating jetty, Less than 500 meters walk. See some of the pictures.
Small shallow sandy beach with mostly muddy bottom. Nice walking path along the cliffs on piers. Good opportunities for crab fishing.
NOTE, There are several private jetties in the area, please use the bathing area that belongs to the area in the first place.
Close to several nice slightly larger bathing places such as Lilla Askerön (3.5 km) and Sjögårdsvik (5 km).
MJÖRNThe house is placed in Mjörn. Mjörn is a small island that belongs to Tjörn, but which is wedged between Tjörn and Orust. The connection to Mjörn is via small bridges. SKÅPESUND – Skåpesund is a small place located in the northern part of Mjörn, between Tjörn and Orust. Here you can sit on a cliff and see sailboats cruising back and forth in the narrow strait. If you walk across the bridge, you are on Orust.
From Skåpesund you can also get to other parts of Mjörn, both by bike or walk.
Here is Sundsby manor, with hiking opportunities, exciting caves and Cafe.
It is also possible to walk or cycle on the cycle path to Varekil, which is located on Orust. Bicycles to Varekil take about 15 minutes.
In Varekil there are some shops, as well as a bank, petrol station and fast food restaurant.
An exciting and different art experience. In the middle of a Bohuslän cultural landscape with traces from the Stone Age and grazing, a sculpture exhibition with world-leading artists can be arranged every summer. Sculpture in Pilane. is an experience for everyone, both big and small.
On Sundsby Manor There is also a restaurant here with very good meals and home-baked cakes in the courtyard café. In the summer you can buy freshly baked bread in the farm shop. They serve excellent “fika” (Swedish for coffee and pastry, coffee can be substituted with other beverages) and different honey products are for sale. Do not miss the watercolor museum in Skärhamn, and after the visit you can buy fresh seafood home to feast on. Climb up Tjörnekalv and you are rewarded with a breathtaking view – in the distance you can see Marstrand’s fortress. Or take the boat to picturesque Åstol with its densely built houses in old traditional style.
Tavlebods honey farm, where you can see how bees live and produce honey. Here you also find “gofika” – a Swedish word for coffee and delicious pastry, and different honey products for sale. A day trip to Gullholmen or Kärringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik. The two islands have no cars and are lovely to visit.
The Pilgrimage Trail on Orust is 80 km long and connects eight churches. Töllås sheep farm has a wonderful café, where you also can buy vegetables from the garden, meat and wool products.

Buy the chair you sit on or the cup you drink from, everything can be bought at delicious food / café just 2 km from the house, welcome to ”Fröken Trulls” There is also a paddle court
