The surroundings
The house is located on southern Orust, only 2 km from the sea and “Stigfjorden”. If you bring bicycles, you can cycle to Kärrebergets bathing area in just 10 minutes.
To Rossön’s nature reserve also with cycling distance where you can of course find your own cliff or beach strip to swim from.
Or why not cycle to Varekil, where there is a shop, petrol station and pizzeria.

BEACH and the sea nearby
– Kärreberget has a long jetty with a shallow beach
– Bathing places on Rossön. One that has rocks, small beach, small jumping tower and parking; barbecue area etc.
– If it is very hot one day, you walk through the wonderful forest in the nature reserve and to a beach that has large rocks and is located in the west. Here you must have bathing shoes.

To do at the island Orust & Tjörn
ORUST
The pilgrimage trail on Orust is eight kilometers long and connects eight churches. It runs in a loop and forms an eight, and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island. Tavlebord’s honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how bees live and make honey. Here you can also buy delicious “Fika” (coffee & pastries) and honey candies. Visit wonderful “Fröken Trulls” good food and you can shop antiques and flowers. A day trip to car-free island Gullholmen or Käringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik.

TJÖRN
An excursion Pilarne, Wildlife Nature sculpture under the open sky or walk to the Säby kiles nature reserve is a wonderful trip. Here is Bohuslän’s largest pasture land in old agricultural environment, When you get tired of nature you stop at Sörgårdens Interiör & Café for a good cup of coffee under the trees in the garden.
