THE SURROUNDINGS
The apartment is located on Rossön, which is a narrow peninsula in southern Orust. Surrounded by water on three sides, you are close to several nice bathing spots and a charming marina. The peninsula is part of the nature reserve Rossö and here you can find both linnea and orchids. The beach meadows attract lots of different bird species, maybe you'll see a single snipe!

THE BEACH
There are at least 3 beaches on Rossön. One that is more orderly with rocks, a small pebble beach, a small jumping tower, parking and a barbecue area, etc
But there is also one with a long jetty and natural beach. If it is very hot one day, you walk through the wonderful forest and to a beach that has large stones and is located in the west. Bathing shoes are a must here.
But, since Rossön is on a peninsula, you can of course find your own cliff or strip of beach to swim from.

THE APARTMENT
The entrance & hall are on the ground floor. Upstairs you are greeted by a bright and fresh apartment that is beautifully furnished. Here there is a bedroom with two single beds that are put together, in the next bedroom there are also two 90 cm beds and the last sleeping place is up in the sleeping loft. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, sink, washing machine and dryer. The open and modern kitchen merges with the welcoming living room, creating a perfect place for socializing and relaxing. But the highlight of the apartment is the balcony, here you can enjoy a perfect BBQ evening and at the same time look out over the shimmering sea.

Things to do on Orust - The Pilgrimsleden on Orust is eight miles long and connects eight churches and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island. Tabletop honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how the bees live and make honey. You can also buy good coffee and honey caramels here. Right next to it is & Tavlebords country store, which functions as a market hall where local producers themselves sell their food and handicrafts. A day trip to car-free Gullholmen or Käringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik. Töllås sheep farm has a wonderful café, where you can also buy vegetables from the garden country.
Miss Trulls and Morlanda trade garden are also a must when visiting Orust. If you feel like shopping, don't forget Göksäter Orust's own little "Ullared".

Take a trip to Tjörn, here, just like on Orust, there are several beautiful old archipelago communities and here they have invested in super nice cycle paths, some of them run along the sea.

Don't miss the Pilane sculpture in Hällene and the Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn has experiences for both young and old. A creative cultural center with watercolor art.
